Zollinger’s lamella roof invention paved the way for larger spanning structures of unobstructed interior space: a perfect fit for Hollywood’s early car culture.  Open, bright, showrooms seduced the public with high-powered-horses of brightly painted steel and polished chrome.  The structure became a fashionable form for a myriad of early businesses.  Like the classic cars it once serviced, this 1930’s original was restored by Ms. Callas and its interior reconceived as a practicable place to park for serious business.
